Drone Assembly Technician

Responsibilities:

• Perform precision mechanical assembly of small UAS platforms and subassemblies
• Conduct electrical assembly, including soldering and wiring
• Support component/assembly testing
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve assembly or integration issues with engineering support
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop in accordance with ESD and safety protocols
• Support continuous improvement in assembly processes and documentation

Requirements:

• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly
• Proficiency in soldering and wiring for small electronics
• Familiarity with 3D printing, drones, UAS, robotics, or RC systems strongly preferred
• Ability to read and follow technical assembly instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Must be U.S. Persons, as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62, based in the United States, due to access to export-controlled information, materials, and technologies

This position will start as a 6-month contract role, with the potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.
