Robotics Engineer

Persona AI is developing and commercializing rugged, multi-purpose humanoid robots that perform real work while we sleep, transforming shipyard operations in defense and manufacturing sectors. Persona's founding team has a decades-long history in robotics and has built systems for NASA, the Department of Defense, and industry. As a Robotics Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement advanced perception systems for our humanoid robot, focusing on robustness, accuracy, and real-time performance. You will work on the full software stack, from low-level control to high-level planning, ensuring robust performance in real-world environments. Responsibilities include collaborating on the design and development of the Persona ML software stack and supporting its application in manipulation, navigation, locomotion, and perception. This role contributes to hard tech innovation by automating hard labor in American shipyards, boosting productivity and supporting reindustrialization through AI-powered humanoid robots that handle welding, assembling, and other tasks in critical defense infrastructure.
