Robotics Engineer

Scout AI is building a universal AGI brain to power military robots at scale, with a vision-language-action model (Fury) that enables robots to see, understand commands, and act autonomously. The company has won two DoD contracts and demonstrated capabilities with G01 UGV and A01 UAV prototypes, shaping the future of defense with intelligent machines. As a Robotics Engineer (Embedded), you'll develop embedded software for robotic platforms, architecting firmware, implementing real-time processes, optimizing for low-power environments, integrating sensors and actuators, and collaborating with AI and robotics teams to deploy models on edge devices, ensuring system reliability for defense applications. This position supports defense tech innovation by enabling autonomous robots for military operations, contributing to the reindustrialization of America through domestic AI and robotics development in hard tech spaces, addressing critical needs in drone and ground vehicle autonomy for national security.
