Mechanical Engineer

Hextronics is a Seed-stage drone startup (raised $2M from Founders Fund) building autonomous 'drone-in-a-box' systems with rapid battery-swapping docking stations for persistent operations in critical infrastructure, energy, public safety, and first responder use cases. Founded by technical founder Curt Lary (Georgia Tech alum with electromechanical engineering background). Currently hiring senior mechanical engineers (along with embedded, electronics, and software roles) to advance hardware, autonomy systems, and manufacturing processes. Small team (~18-30 people) focused on rapid iteration, certification, and scaling production of drone docking infrastructure. Miami-based with emphasis on hard tech and domestic manufacturing.
